A cheque in the post!
I just received a cheque... not just any cheque (and not a huge one either!): it is the payment for an article I wrote for the December issue of a local Sunday magazine. More exactly, the first ever payment for something I've written. Yes, for me that certainly is a big deal!
I feel like framing the cheque and hang it on the wall over my desk, but my financial situation dictates that I cash it and frame a photocopy instead! ;-) May many more follow...

I also recieved a cheque!!! 2 cheques actually!!! One is am overdue cheque for Children's Allowance and the other is a tax refund!! The second cheque is only for a few pounds, but it restored my faith in the tax department!! (Not) Actually I was also thinking of framing it, but I would rather go and buy myself something to wear with the money!! Tee hee.. I feel rich...I feel a spending spree comming on....
